Established is 1968, Alphacolor Inc. was the first color photo lab in the Lakes Region and quickly became a respectable and award winning photofinishing company. In 1996 John Sanborn succeeded his father as CEO and worked diligently to keep Alphacolor on top. As digital photography emerged, John knew that expanding the company into additional profit centers would be vital to the continued success Alphacolor has enjoyed for almost four decades.

    The first thing added was a wide format digital printer, capable of print sizes up to 44" x 68".  Alphacolor could take your 35mm negative, slide or even an 8x10 print and create life size images. Archival inks and scrim vinyl banner material would also allow the creation of 44" x 200" outdoor, waterproof banners, the widest and most advanced printer in the Lakes Region. With the latest in graphics design software, point of purchase signs products were added, thereby increasing the versatility of this state of the art printing machine. Alphacolor has continued to stay at the forefront of this emerging new technology market.

    A custom framing shop was then added, giving Lakes Region customers a one stop shop for their digital printing and custom framing needs. Alphacolor is currently the only complete imaging center in central N.H.

    In early 2006 another wide format digital printer was purchased, and dedicated exclusively to fine art reproductions. We work with artists in digitally capturing and accurately reproducing their artwork. Alphacolor continues to grow with the very latest advancements in technology and  quality.
